The Department of Ocean Science (OCES) aims to seek, teach, and communicate scientific understanding of the ocean.

Vision

To establish an excellent research and education platform for multi-disciplinary ocean science and technology.

To provide internationally acclaimed undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) training in ocean science and technology.

To develop next-generation marine science and technology that enhance scientific expedition of the ocean, sustainable utilization of ocean resources, our readiness for long-term climate change, and socio-economic development on local, regional and global scales.
