The Gordon Research Conference (GRC) on Ocean Biogeochemistry will be held at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in July 2018.

The 2018 GRC on Ocean Biogeochemistry will focus on processes that occur at and between marine interfaces. Oral and poster presentations and discussions will address, without being limited to, biogeochemical fluxes between the atmosphere and the ocean; between the surface, intermediate, and deep waters; and between the deep ocean, the seafloor and the sub-seafloor. Socio-economic aspects will also be considered.

All attendees are invited to present posters, including graduate students, postdocs, and researchers from universities, government and the private sector.

GRC registration fees for a number of Hong Kong participants will be covered by the Hong Kong's Innovation and Technology Commission and Croucher Foundation. The registration fees include meals at HKUST during the whole conference. Available funds will be allocated to Hong Kong applicants on a "first come first serve" basis. It is expected that participants will attend all morning, afternoon and evening sessions of the GRC. Those interested in participating in the GRC should apply on https://www.grc.org/ocean-biogeochemistry-grs-conference/2018/ by June 10, 2018.
