A 3.5-day summer course organized by Agricultural, Fisheries and Conservation Department (AFCD) and Department of Ocean Science (OCES) HKUST has been successfully completed with sweat and laughter on July 5. Through the interactive lectures, field trips and laboratory experiments, students are able to recognize ecologically important organisms and coastal habitats of Hong Kong, and acquire knowledge on marine biodiversity and conservation. We are looking forward to organize more ocean science-related summer courses and education programmes in near future!
