The School of Science will organize a 5-week-long Summer Research Program, from 9 July to 10 August 2018, for non-local UG students. This Summer Research Program targets for outstanding end of year 3 UG students who are interested in pursuing MPhil or PhD programs in the School of Science at HKUST. It allows participants to experience the research life and to work with faculty mentors in our School to carry out research projects in an interactive environment.

Undergraduate students majoring in science and related programs, who have completed 3 years of studies (of a 4-year bachelor program) and have attained a GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0 (or 80%) or higher are welcomed. Students apply for research under the supervision of faculty members in the Department of Ocean Science will have the opportunity to work in the Coastal Marine Lab and other fascinating field and laboratory based projects.
